The space that housed Asher & Rose at 45 West Park Square in Marietta has sold and is slated to transform into a French brasserie concept, Brasserie Genevieve. The concept will likely open in December or January.
Steve Josovitz of the Shumacher Group represented the seller in the deal.
The spot offers a 6,000-square-foot main level as well as a 3,000-square-foot basement and a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine. There is room to seat 130 on the main level, with 45 additional seats on a sidewalk patio and 30 bar seats.
The team behind the forthcoming restaurant appears to be the owners of L on North, a nearby restaurant at Marietta Square that also has a location in Canton.
What Now Atlanta confirmed the transaction with new owner Salem Makhlouf and is expecting to receive further information about the new concept.
