Old Fourth Ward restaurant Ruby Chow’s is planning a new location, slated to open next year. It will open at 739 Trabert Ave. in Berkeley Park in summer 2027, partner Brian Seo told What Now Atlanta.
Formerly an office space, the spot will undergo renovations to transform into a restaurant. The team is collaborating with interior designer Elizabeth Ingram on the space.
Seo said they expect to have elements of dark woods, velvets, different textures, warm lighting and a vibrant color scheme with shades of maroon and magenta.
“It’s going to be really intimate when you step into the space,” Seo said. “You’ll definitely be taken into a completely different environment that really encompasses you.”
The Asian fusion menu, known for dishes such as Shoyu Tomago and Cacio E Pepe, will largely stay the same. Customers can expect to see about 80% of Ruby Chow’s usual menu items at the Berkeley Park location, Seo said.
However, the team has tapped Phillip An, who has experience at Jean-Georges and NoMad Hotel, to continue to cultivate development.
“We have a great menu that’s existed for six years at our current location,” Seo said. “We don’t want to completely change it, but there are also moments where we want our guests to experience something different and have some unique dishes that will be standalone dishes at each location.”
Expect to see further updates from the team as they grow closer to opening.
