Marathon Burger is coming to Las Vegas! According to an Instagram post from Power 106, Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, the founder of the smashburger brand and the brother of the late Nipsey Hussle, announced on Brown Bag Morning 106 that the booming chain is planning to open a location on the Las Vegas Strip.
The new Marathon Burger set to come to Las Vegas will be open 24 hours and have a drive-thru, a first for the brand.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to Asghedom to find out more about the exciting new development and further expansion plans. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“So good, you’ll double up,” the brand’s food truck reads.

Marathon Burger is a community-focused diner rooted in the legacy of the late rapper and entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle. The concept was created by Asghedom, alongside family members and business partner Casey Parker. Inspired by a shared love for smash burgers, the team spent a full year testing recipes daily before launch. The project expands Hussle’s The Marathon lifestyle brand into the culinary space, keeping his vision of neighborhood-building alive.
The brand first introduced itself via a pop-up in October 2024. Marathon Burger officially opened its first permanent brick-and-mortar location on March 1, 2025, taking over the former Johnny Rockets space at 7507 Melrose Ave in Los Angeles. A second location opened near Venice Beach to serve beachgoers a streamlined version of the menu. There are now four Marathon Burger locations, all of which are in California.
No word yet on when exactly the new Las Vegas Marathon Burger will open. But we’re sure that as we inch closer to opening, more will be revealed. So keep your ears perked and your eyes peeled for the latest.
Marathon Burger is anticipated to open on the Las Vegas Strip in the near future.
(This is a developing story. As more information is made available, we will update this article. Stay tuned!)
