Bel Air’s Derby Place shopping center has added yet another powerful retail draw to its growing lineup. Warby Parker has signed on to bring its fashionable glasses to the project.
Arguably the name in eye apparel will be joining the upcoming Whole Foods anchored development in a 1,602 square foot storefront. Warby Parker is one of several brands certain to help Derby Place bring a “lifestyle premium” experience to area shoppers. The store joins a tenant roster including Dave’s Hot Chicken, Eggspectation, Shake Shack, and VEG ER for Pets.
Bel Air residents will need to rely on their current specs for a little longer. Construction isn’t slated to begin on Derby Place until this winter, with the first businesses projected to open in spring of 2028.
Warby Parker has been a major player in the eyewear game since its founding in 2010. What began as an online-only retailer has become a full-on juggernaut, with more than 300 locations currently open and serving customers.
