A new Jersey Mike’s store is planned for Converse, with construction documents showing a new location build-out project at 4211 E Loop 1604 North, Suite 102. It’s one of several developments that Sandwich Chain is working on, with an active Texas pipeline.

The planned restaurant will occupy approximately 1,463 square feet of an existing space. The reported project value for the transformation of the space is listed as $1.5 million. PlanHub lists that construction is scheduled to begin this September; however, timelines have not been confirmed by the brand.

Records show the space is designed for an occupancy of 23 people. Plans break the approximately 1,463-square-foot interior into about 270 square feet of dining space, 870 square feet of kitchen area, and 328 square feet of hallway or restroom space.

Steven Tozzi of SAJM, LLC is identified as the tenant for the project. Tozzi is a local franchisee who owns several Jersey Mike’s units in the area. The design team includes Thomas Tedrow of Tedrow Design as architect, Kacie Reisman of Tedrow Design as project designer, and Ashim Ray and John Kenney as MEP consultants.

The sub shop will join a retail row that includes Tia’s Taco, Tropical Smoothie, Great Clips, Wingstop, and Deca Dental. Several nearby units totaling approximately 6,750 square feet are also available for lease, according to the project information.

This Converse project is part of a larger Texas expansion pipeline for the franchise. Jersey Mike’s website lists other locations in development in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Katy, Little Elm, Manor, Rockwall, San Antonio, Waco, and Wylie.
