Bon Ton announced the news on social media, where the team said farewell to the community. The post reflected on Bon Ton’s history since opening in Atlanta in 2017. The team wrote, “Thousands of snow crab legs and a few questionable life choices later, you turned our neon-lit fever dream into a Midtown legend.”
Bon Ton did not provide a reason for the closure. The restaurant encouraged customers to visit during its final month of service. The restaurant plans to mark its nine years in business with a month-long farewell.
The team added, “We’re not slipping out the back door quietly—we’re throwing a full-blown month-long victory lap. Come pull up a stool, get grease on your hands, and toast to 9 glorious years of beautiful chaos.”

The restaurant originally comes from the culinary legacy of Hoa Nguyen, a Vietnamese-born New Orleans restaurateur. His cooking brought Vietnamese and Creole influences together.
Darren Carr, Eric Simpkins, and chef Hieu Pham reopened the concept in Atlanta, continuing Nguyen’s culinary approach. Apart from its seafood lineup, the restaurant is also known for its cocktail program with strong New Orleans influences.
