DICK’S Sporting Goods is bringing its House of Sport concept to Costa Mesa, according to commercial real estate information for the property at 2200 Harbor Blvd. The new store is listed for the Gray Plaza shopping center, where the retailer is expected to occupy approximately 94,058 square feet.
No confirmed public opening date was identified in the available sources. The Costa Mesa store would add the House of Sport concept to Orange County while occupying a substantial portion of the existing Harbor Boulevard retail center.
House of Sport is DICK’S larger-format retail concept, combining traditional sporting goods sales with sports-related experiences and services. The company’s House of Sport locations offer activities such as climbing walls, golf simulators and fitting services, batting experiences, events and other sports-focused programming.
The Costa Mesa location will be part of Gray Plaza, a roughly 19.9-acre shopping center at Harbor Boulevard and Wilson Street. The property currently includes a mix of national and local tenants, including Planet Fitness and Aqua Tots, and has approximately 750 parking spaces, according to the property listing.
The Costa Mesa project was also identified in a commercial property listing that names DICK’S House of Sport as a tenant at the Harbor Boulevard center. The listing describes the store as coming soon.
