A popular Virginia Indian restaurant is moving full-steam ahead into its newest location. Lovettsville favorite Train to Mumbai is pulling into Purcellville, with construction underway on the upcoming storefront, reports local media outlet The Burn.
Train to Mumbai will be debuting its second location in the Purcellville Center. The eatery is taking over the 609 U East Main Street storefront that housed Purcellville Eats until its relocation over the summer.
Train to Mumbai has not announced an opening timeline for its Purcellville arrival, however a recent social media post has given diners plenty of reason to get excited. Captioned simply: “Slowly but surely!”, the update includes pictures of a restaurant under construction. While there is still visibly plenty of work to be done, it is clear that Train to Mumbai is making steady progress on its upcoming home.
Purcellville foodies are certain to welcome Train to Mumbai; the website offers a tantalizing peak at its memorable cuisine, saying: “Our menu was carefully created by considering different flavor profiles. In our kitchen, you will find traditional Indian cooking techniques along with unexpected ingredient combinations. It is important for us to preserve time-honored cooking techniques while tantalizing taste buds of our guest.”
