With a huge number of restaurants—more than 4,100 in the U.S. alone—Dairy Queen is a perennial favorite for burgers, ice cream, and more when you’re on the go. These many Dairy Queen locations include both DQ’s full-service “Grill & Chill” stores and its primarily ice cream-focused “Treat” stores.
Now, Dairy Queen appears to be planning a new Grill & Chill location in Winter Springs.
This week, What Now came across plan review documents submitted by Yogiraj 21 LLC for the new DQ, which would open at 1308 W State Rd 434. (Google Maps places this address in Longwood.)
DQ’s Grill & Chill menu is known for its signature Stackburgers, which come in varieties like the FlameThrower, the Cheese Deluxe, and the Backyard Bacon Ranch. But of course, it’s the Blizzard that puts the “Dairy” in “Dairy Queen”: a constant favorite that comes in varieties like Oreo, Reese’s, Peppermint Bark, Choco-Dipped Strawberry, and more.
The spot in question is situated near the intersection of West State Road 434 and North US Highway 1792. The intersection is home to businesses like OKCarz Longwood, Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires, Subway, and Rookies Cantina.
