Last month, the Daytona Beach News-Journal published coverage highlighting burgeoning development at the corner of LPGA and Outlet Boulevards, a place that, in the early 2000s, “was nothing but a field filled with trees, hay and the occasional wild turkey.”
Now, the area is thriving, and as restaurants like Shake Shack and Chick-fil-A are drawn to the area’s growth, a new retailer is preparing to open there, too: Mattress Warehouse.
“Equinox Development, a real estate developer based out of Maitland in Orange County, is developing a new set of buildings in the Cornerstone Exchange retail center, an area directly south of the separately owned Cornerstone Office Park on the southwest corner of LPGA and Williamson boulevards in Daytona Beach,” the coverage says.
Among several restaurant concepts coming to the retail center, Mattress Warehouse will be coming in on the retail side, allowing customers to “Save Money. Sleep Better.”
“Mattress Warehouse is dedicated to one mission: improving lives through quality sleep,” says the Mattress Warehouse website’s About Us page. “What began more than 40 years ago has grown into 520+ locations, now strengthened by the addition of Sleep Outfitters to our family.
