There’s exciting news on the horizon for Anne Arundel residents eager to work on their swings but unable to squeeze in a full day at the links. Brothers Evan and Patrick Lipinski are bringing the popular golf simulator brand Back Nine Golf to a second area location, and it will be ready to welcome guests before the end of the year, reports the Baltimore Business Journal.

The indoor recreation center is joining Robinson Crossing in Severna Park at 550 Ritchie Highway. Back Nine will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, inviting visitors to enjoy its Full Swing Simulators in the 2,900-square-foot space whenever is convenient for them.

Co-franchisee Patrick Lipinski very kindly set aside some time to speak with What Now DC about the concept’s new location. “There’s a lot of golfers in the area and not a ton of options” he explains. “There’s a lot of families, a lot of young people in the area, so it’s a good spot for us.”

Lipinksi adds that he and his brother, both golf enthusiasts, were considering building their own simulator when they came across Back Nine. The business model proved appealing, thanks in part to the fact that few employees are necessary to successfully run the facility.

Anne Arundel locals will be able to swing into Back Nine’s new home before the year is out; Lipinski anticipates being open in early-to-mid December.
