A new hookah lounge could soon be joining the businesses along East Hampden Avenue, with Jabib Hookah Lounge planned for a space at Wells Plaza.

The proposed lounge would take over a 2,100-square-foot space at 10101 E. Hampden Avenue, Unit 115A, next to Play N Lean Childcare and Garden Massage Spa and across from Kennedy Golf Course.

According to Naked Denver, plans filed with the city call for the space to be converted into a hookah lounge, with a layout designed around customer seating and service areas.

The plans set aside approximately 696 square feet for hookah seating, with several seating areas planned throughout the space. The layout also includes a service counter, break area and bathrooms.

The project is still under review, and details about the business itself remain limited.

For now, Jabib Hookah Lounge remains in the planning stages as the proposed build-out works its way through the city’s review process. If approved, the project would transform the vacant commercial space into a dedicated hookah lounge with seating for dozens of guests.
