According to the company’s own site, Kura Revolving Sushi plans to open a new location at 347 W. Esplanade Dr., Unit 24, in Oxnard, currently listed as “Coming Soon.”

What Now Los Angeles reached out to Kura Revolving Sushi representatives, who confirmed that the Oxnard location is targeted to open in spring 2027.

Kura is known for its revolving conveyor belt dining model, which lets guests select dishes as plates pass by, combined with automated ordering and interactive technology. The menu spans sushi, nigiri, hand rolls, specialty rolls, udon, ramen, and desserts, built around traditional Japanese ingredients.

The brand already operates several Los Angeles-area locations. The Oxnard restaurant adds to Kura Sushi’s rapid buildout across Southern California, which What Now has tracked closely.

What Now Los Angeles previously reported on a new Canoga Park location inside Westfield Topanga, when the brand operated more than 20 California restaurants, with several more listed as coming soon at the time, including sites in Orange, Mission Valley, Temecula, and Union City.

What Now San Diego later reported on a Carlsbad location taking over the former home of Toast Gastrobrunch, by which point the chain had grown to 27 California locations and 94 nationwide.
