Starwood Cafe plans to open at 4451 FM 2181, Suite 125, in Corinth, according to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Managing partner Dashmir Rushiti told What Now Dallas that the team has not set a specific opening date but hopes to be operating by December.
The restaurant will occupy a 2,670-square-foot space that previously housed Genti’s Pizza & Pasta. The state filing estimates the work will run from late October through mid-December.
Founded in 2012, Starwood Cafe is run by the Rushiti family. Jack Rushiti previously owned and operated a restaurant in Illinois, where he introduced his sons, Andy and Lou Rushiti, to the hospitality business. After moving to Texas, the brothers opened the first Starwood Cafe.
The company currently operates 12 restaurants across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including a Denton location at 2530 W. University Drive, Suite 110. The Corinth restaurant would become its 13th.
Breakfast makes up most of the menu, with omelets, skillets, pancakes, waffles, crepes, French toast, and Eggs Benedict. Starwood Cafe also serves lunch dishes, sandwiches, and lighter choices.
Other options include chicken and waffles, chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, avocado toast, dulce de leche crepes, and cinnamon roll French toast. Drinks include coffee, cocktails, and nonalcoholic beverages.
