An authentic Vietnamese concept with a location already in the works in Arlington is expanding to Mansfield. According to public filings, 286 Noodle House plans to open at 2201 E. Broad St., Suite 131.

What Now Dallas spoke with owner Nick Nguyen, who confirmed that the opening is targeted for April 2027 and shared the vision behind the Mansfield location.

286 Noodle House’s concept centers on Vietnamese noodle dishes prepared using traditional techniques, slow-simmered broths, fresh herbs, and house-made components. According to Nguyen, pho is the anchor, but the menu extends to a range of dishes that represent Vietnam’s diverse regional traditions.

“Our pho is simmering for 24 hours, full of flavors. Besides pho, we have many other dishes that Mansfield doesn’t have yet,” Nguyen told What Now Dallas.

The restaurant is designed with a cozy atmosphere where guests can gather and engage in “relaxing conversations,” according to the website.

For Nguyen, the choice of Mansfield was straightforward. “Mansfield is growing, plus I want to bring more authentic Vietnamese food to Mansfield to give the community more options for dining,” he said.

The restaurant will introduce dishes the city hasn’t seen before, going beyond more familiar Vietnamese offerings. The Mansfield location would be 286 Noodle House’s second in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

An Arlington location is currently on schedule to open in December 2026, making Mansfield the brand’s immediate next step in its expansion across Tarrant County.
