Chopan Restaurant and Cafe Plans November Opening in Tacoma

The halal restaurant will serve dishes influenced by Afghan, Middle Eastern, Central Asian, and Persian cuisines

Chopan Restaurant and Cafe plans to open in Tacoma in November, a representative from the restaurant told What Now Seattle. The restaurant has not announced an exact address, operating hours, or a specific opening date.

Chopan will serve halal dishes influenced by Afghan, Middle Eastern, Central Asian, and Persian cooking. Customers can expect grilled meats, kebabs, seasoned rice, salads, dumplings, baked breads, pastries, desserts, and hot tea. 

Chopan has not yet published a complete menu or prices.

The restaurant will offer a family-friendly dining environment with a separate seating area for families. Mosawi has been sharing project updates on Facebook as the restaurant prepares to welcome its first customers.
