Juicy Joint is expanding its enterprise to now include brick-and-mortar locations and franchising, according to the Houston Business Journal. The brand, known for its Halal food trucks serving Wagyu beef burgers and hot dogs, already has two locations listed as “coming soon” on its website.
Those locations include Spring and Houston.
What Now Houston reached out to Founder and CEO Ahmad Kilani to find out more about the exciting expansion plans. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“Burgers & fast food near you — Houston (Galleria), Houston Main St., Katy, Dallas, and Humble,” the Juicy Joint website reads.
“Halal Wagyu smash burgers at every Juicy Joint.”
You may have seen the trucks around the city or at the locations listed above. Juicy Joint also has a location in Frisco, TX, and its main brick-and-mortar is in Dallas.

Entrepreneur Kilani founded Clutch City Cluckers in Houston in February 2021 and later launched its sister smashburger concept, Juicy Joint, in October 2024 in Houston’s Galleria area as a mobile food truck concept. The brand specializes in halal Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches, tenders, and loaded fries. The name and logo (a chicken on a rocket) honor Houston’s “Clutch City” championship sports legacy and the vision for the brand to skyrocket. While Juicy Joint was created to fill a void in the local halal market by offering Houston’s first halal Wagyu and prime beef smash burgers, gourmet hot dogs, and loaded fries.
Juicy Joint expanded to Katy and North Texas with the Dallas brick-and-mortar location, operating multiple trucks and storefronts with plans to begin franchising both concepts.
There are now at least seven Juicy Joint locations operating across Texas.
No word just yet on when exactly the first Houston brick-and-mortar Juicy Joint will open. But we’re sure more will be revealed soon. So keep your eyes peeled, and your ears perked for the latest.
Juicy Joint is set to open its first Houston brick-and-mortar and begin franchising later this year or early next year.
