Summit Shopeis on the move! The growing specialty candies, chocolates, and teas shop is working on its second Las Vegas Valley opening. According to a City of Las Vegas permit, the new Summit Shope is expected to open in Northwest Las Vegas near the Summerlin area inside the Doña Maria Plaza shopping center at 3211 N Tenaya Way, Suite 120.
The neighborhood retail/commercial center sits at N. Tenaya Way and W. Cheyenne Avenue.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to owner Sarah Trevino to find out more about the brand’s second Las Vegas Valley opening. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“Direct from Australia, these internet-famous colorful candies have arrived in Las Vegas, exclusively at Summit Shope,” the brand’s Facebook page reads about its special offerings.
“A delightfully fruity, crispy center surprise enveloped by a luxurious milk chocolate shell, these candies are a treat for the eyes and the taste buds! Get yours in store today!”
That’s exactly what the Las Vegas brand is known for.
Summit Shope is a specialty food retailer that started as an e-commerce business in 2009 before expanding into a physical storefront. The business was established online by Trevino, initially operating purely as an e-commerce platform. To better serve the local community, the brand transitioned from a web-only model into a brick-and-mortar retail location situated at 1717 S. Decatur Blvd, near the intersection with W. Oakey Blvd, at the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet in the Spring Valley area.
The shop gained broader recognition locally and nationally, winning the Best of Las Vegas Gold Winner title in the Specialty Food category.
Summit Shope offers personally sourced, hand-selected international candies, rare gummies, artisan chocolates, honey, syrups, and fine teas, such as hard-to-find soursop tea.
Check it out for yourself when the new Summit Shope opens in Northwest Las Vegas near the Summerlin area inside the Doña Maria Plaza shopping center at 3211 N Tenaya Way, Suite 120, later this year or early next year.
(This is a developing story. As more information is made available, we will update this article. Stay tuned!)
