Tahini’s, a restaurant chain specializing in Mediterranean fusion and Middle Eastern cuisine, is preparing to open new locations in Windsor at 1485 Huron Church Road, Unit A, and Milton at 1216 Steeles Avenue East, Suite 5.

The company lists both locations in its “Coming Soon” section on its website, but it has not announced opening dates. The Milton location will be found within the Milton Crossroads shopping center. Customers can expect a menu featuring shawarma wraps, bowls, platters, and appetizers made with fresh ingredients.

Tahini’s menu includes chicken and beef shawarma, with options such as the Beef Shawarma Wrap and Blueberry Flame Shawarma. The latter features chicken shawarma with blueberry sauce, onions, parsley, pickles, and garlic sauce. Other offerings include appetizers, salads, and larger platters, including the Royal Shawarma Tray and Shawarma by the Box.

The company describes its food as Middle Eastern cuisine prepared fresh daily, with a focus on ingredients and customer service. Customers can also order online or arrange catering through the brand.

According to its website, Tahini’s grew out of the owners’ experience operating restaurants in London, Ontario. After gaining recognition for its restaurants, the owners established Tahini’s Franchising Corporation to bring the brand to more customers. The company now lists locations across Ontario and other parts of Canada, as well as in Illinois.

The Windsor and Milton restaurants are among several upcoming locations listed on the company’s website. Other planned sites include locations in New Jersey, Alabama, Edmonton, and Vancouver. Further details about the two Ontario openings have not yet been announced.
