Burrito Guyz is preparing to make its Florida debut in Apopka, bringing a menu of customizable burritos, rice bowls and other quick-service options to a growing area of Central Florida.
The restaurant is planned for 2895 Ocoee Apopka Road, Building 2, Suite C, at the Lake Carter Exchange development. According to The Apopka Chief, the location is expected to open in December 2026. Permit records show a restaurant-related application was in process as of October 2, 2026.
The Apopka restaurant will be operated by Paddy Patel’s Investment Group. The Patel family’s plans extend beyond the first location, with a goal of opening 12 restaurants in Central Florida and pursuing additional franchise opportunities across Florida and Georgia, The Apopka Chief reported.
Burrito Guyz offers a menu built around customizable meals, with options that go beyond the usual burrito-shop lineup. The company’s website lists burritos and rice bowls alongside quesadillas, nachos, tacos and taco salads.
The menu also draws on flavors from different cuisines. Options reported for the brand include steak burritos and butter chicken bowls, as well as dishes featuring paneer, an Indian cheese. Customers can mix and match ingredients to suit their preferences.
The Apopka location came into focus as the Patel family became more familiar with the area through their children’s schooling. Their search for a location led them to Lake Carter Exchange, where the restaurant will join the mix of businesses serving the surrounding community.
The Apopka restaurant will mark Burrito Guyz’s entry into the Florida market. The brand offers online ordering for pickup and delivery, along with a rewards app for customers.
An exact opening date for the Apopka restaurant has not been announced. More information about the menu and brand is available through the Burrito Guyz website.
