Jersey Mike’s Subs is planning a restaurant at 1409 W. Chapman Drive, Suite 500, in Sanger, according to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The project calls for an interior build-out within an existing retail building, with an estimated cost of $105,000. Work is scheduled to begin December 1, 2026, with completion expected May 31, 2027. The filing does not include a restaurant opening date.
Chad Huffhines, who owns and operates more than 30 Jersey Mike’s restaurants across Texas and Florida, is the franchisee behind the planned Sanger location.
Jersey Mike’s began as Mike’s Subs in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, in 1956. Peter Cancro purchased the original shop in 1975 at age 17 and went on to expand the business. The chain now has more than 3,300 restaurants across the United States and Canada.
The brand serves cold subs and grilled sandwiches, with meats and cheeses sliced to order and bread baked in stores daily. Its menu also includes wraps, bowls, sides, and desserts.
