A Memphis dining newcomer is bringing locals a fresh way to satisfy their Italian cravings. Roma Pizza Pasta and Subs will be inviting visitors to enjoy any of the titular dishes-or all three!-at a new location, set to open in the not-too-distant future.

The restaurant is setting up its kitchen at 2235 Whitten Road, Suite 102. Roma Pizza Pasta and Subs currently has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development that shows that the concept’s storefront will span 1,300 square feet and will have an occupant load of 50.

Future customers may reasonably wonder what Roma Pizza Pasta and Subs has in store-besides, of course, pizza, pasta, and subs. The certificate of occupancy application offers a some-albeit limited-insight into the question, with the project description saying: “ limited-service restaurant/pizzeria within existing commercial tenant space at 2235 Whitten Road, Suite 102.Scope includes dine-in and carryout food service.”

The restaurant does have a Google business entry that states that it will be opening on November 1, as well as enticing locals with the promise that: “”Roma Pizza Pasta & Subs has brought the authentic taste of Italy to the heart of Memphis…this Italian restaurant is a haven for lovers of classic cuisine. From handcrafted pizzas and hearty pasta dishes to delicious subs, every meal is prepared with passion and the finest ingredients.”
