“Charleston, here we come!” said an Instagram post published by Construction Resources in September 2025. “We’re excited to announce our newest CR Design Center, opening Spring 2026 in Mount Pleasant, SC. This 45,000 sq. ft. destination will bring 10 product categories under one roof including a 12,000 sq. ft. store-in-store Opustone showroom, featuring luxury natural stone and tile. Located at The Shoppes at Seaside Farms, the Charleston CR Design Center will be a one-stop destination for design + inspiration.”

The Spring 2026 opening did not eventuate, but the project is still moving forward. In an August press release announcing a new CR Design Center for Dallas, Texas, Construction Resources dropped a new opening timeline: Fall 2026.

Construction Resources is a “one-stop resource” for building and designing kitchens, bathrooms, and other home spaces.

“We offer over 60 nationally-recognized brands across 10 product categories: appliances, cabinets, countertops, decorative plumbing, fireplaces, garage doors, lighting, outdoor living, shower doors & mirrors, and tile & flooring,” says the Construction Resources website. “With over 50 years of experience, CR has everything you need from industry expertise, product knowledge, design tips, and more.”

Opening in the Shoppes at Seaside Farms, Construction Resources will join a business community that is home to retailers like Top Hat Wine & Liquors and restaurants like Owlbear Cafe, Phil’s Ice Cream, and Crave Kitchen & Cocktails.
