Texas de Brazil is making its Gainesville debut at Butler Town Center in 3596 SW 32nd Court, Suite 60, with a spring 2027 opening on the horizon. The Brazilian churrascaria chain, one of the most recognized names in all-you-can-eat steakhouse dining in the country will occupy a 6,300-square-foot space in one of the city’s busiest retail and dining corridors, bringing a concept that has earned a loyal community across more than 50 U.S. locations to North Central Florida for the first time.
The concept is rodízio-style dining, a continuous, tableside experience where gauchos move through the dining room carving meats straight from skewers cooked over an open flame with natural wood charcoal. Guests control the pace with a simple red-and-green card system: green means keep it coming, red means take a break. The meat selection runs deep, covering garlic picanha, plain and bacon-wrapped filet mignon, bacon-wrapped chicken, Brazilian sausage seasoned with garlic and paprika, lamb, and pork parmesan, among others.
Holding its own alongside the meat parade is a sprawling 50-item salad area loaded with imported cheeses, charcuterie, fresh vegetables, and Brazilian sides, including baked cinnamon bananas, a warm, caramelized staple that has earned a devoted following among regulars at other locations. The full bar leans into caipirinhas, Brazil’s national cocktail, backed by an extensive wine list. Lunch, dinner, happy hour, and catering are all available.
Family-owned since its founding in Addison, Texas in 1998, Texas de Brazil has grown to 53 U.S. restaurants across 23 states, with additional outposts in Puerto Rico and internationally.
