A new sports bar for golf lovers is preparing for an opening next month in Wildwood. Opening at 101 S Main St., Suite 101, Linx Golf Bar will feature three golf simulator bays, a 9-hole minigolf putting course, and even a rooftop bar space. Owner Bryan Carraciolo told What Now on Thursday that Linx is just what the area is missing.

“We saw the need for it,” Caracciolo said. “We’re right next to the Villages in Wildwood. Everybody plays golf, but there’s a lot of rain and a lot of heat. This is another option, a place to get out of the weather and have a great round of golf.”

On the food side, expect to find sandwiches, hoagies, salads, flatbreads, and other bar bites and appetizers. Offering “more than golf” doesn’t just mean offering food too: Linx will also offer a number of features available only to members (see below).

Meanwhile, the Wildwood opening, which is targeting mid-November, is just the beginning: Caracciolo says another Linx Golf Bar is in the works in Ocala, with a launch expected in the new year.

“Welcome to LINX GOLFBAR, where the love for golf meets the enjoyment of a vibrant bar atmosphere,” says the Linx Golf Bar website. “Whether you’re here to unwind after a round or enjoy a night out with friends, we offer a variety of experiences to keep you entertained.”
