The retailer is also planning stores in Maxwell and Luling, as What Now Austin previously reported. Construction for both is scheduled for 2027.
AutoZone opened 374 stores during its 2026 fiscal year. In its September 22 earnings release, the company reported 8,031 locations in the United States, Mexico, and Brazil as of August 29.
The retailer’s stores carry replacement parts, tools, maintenance supplies, and accessories for cars and light trucks. Many locations also deliver parts to repair shops, dealerships, and other commercial customers.
Across the chain, services include battery testing and charging, diagnostic testing, and a tool-loan program. Customers can also shop through AutoZone’s website and mobile app.
