Club Studio Fitness is plans to open a new location in Santa Monica. According to the company’s website, a club at 2001 Wilshire Blvd. is listed as “coming soon.”

Club Studio was founded in 2022 in Irvine and is operated by Fitness International LLC, the company behind LA Fitness, Esporta Fitness, and City Sports Club.

The brand combines traditional gym amenities with boutique fitness classes under one membership, including reformer Pilates, CS4 (a cardio and strength format), cycling, boxing, and heated yoga, alongside recovery spaces such as saunas and steam rooms.

The Wilshire Boulevard address would be Club Studio’s second Santa Monica club. The first, at Santa Monica Place, held its grand opening on September 19, according to Westside Current.

The Wilshire site sits along a corridor in transition. Westside Current reported that the city approved a 260-unit apartment project at the former Gap store at 1931 Wilshire Blvd., near Wilshire Boulevard and 20th Street.

What Now Los Angeles has tracked Club Studio’s growth in the region. This outlet reported on the Santa Monica Place club, then ahead of its summer launch with a preview center open, and on a Beverly Hills location at 8484 Wilshire Blvd. What Now Orange County also covered the Costa Mesa club at 555 West 19th St., and reported on a second Irvine club at 3949 Portola Parkway.
