DiAnoche is set to open at 3 London Road in Asheville, North Carolina, in January 2027, bringing a two-part concept to a neighborhood that owner Amber Arthur believes needs both excellent coffee and a good cocktail bar.
Arthur told WhatNow Charlotte that the new venue will serve Mexican-inspired coffee during the day before shifting into an agave-focused bar at night. The Citizen Times also included DiAnoche among Asheville’s upcoming openings in an October Instagram post.
“We just think that that part of town needed some excellent coffee and a cocktail bar,” Arthur said.
The daytime offering will put a distinctive spin on the usual coffee shop lineup, with Mexican-inspired ingredients and homemade corn milk as an alternative to dairy. Arthur said the idea was to give the neighborhood something different, with the coffee program forming one half of the concept.
After dark, the atmosphere will change. The bar will focus on agave spirits, including tequila and mezcal, alongside other specialty spirits. Arthur described the approach simply: “Hot sauce done well.”
DiAnoche will be the second location for the concept, while the space will also connect with London Road Pub, another second location for Arthur’s Olde London Road bar. The name DiAnoche plays on the words for day and night, reflecting the two experiences planned under one roof.
Arthur said the opening will also help the team reach people in a different part of Asheville. “We’re really excited to tap into a different part of Asheville, to East Asheville and South Asheville, and just be able to bring our product in to a different part of town and meet new people,” she said.
For now, Arthur said the focus is on building out the two bar projects ahead of the new year, with DiAnoche preparing to offer Asheville a place that moves from coffee by day to cocktails by night.
