A fast-casual burger stand continues to heat up the grill across Texas.
P. Terry’s Burger Stand plans to open a new location in Liberty Hill. Although the project has not yet received an official address as it enters the review process, the burger stand will sit in front of the recently opened “world’s largest Target.”
“We’re excited to bring P. Terry’s Burger Stand to Liberty Hill as we prepare to open our 41st location,” SVP Matthew Montgomery told Whatnow Austin.
The 4,000-square-foot shop will be built from the ground up, with construction expected to begin in January.
Patrick and Kathy Terry founded the burger chain in Austin in 2005, drawing inspiration from classic burger stands of the ‘50s and ’60s.
P. Terry’s Burger Stand serves burgers made with 100% Black Angus beef, hand-cut fries prepared with Idaho Burbank potatoes, hand-spun milkshakes and homemade baked goods. For early risers, the menu also features breakfast sandwiches and potatoes, available until 11 a.m.
Fans looking to show off their love for the brand can shop merchandise, including hats, sweatshirts, T-shirts, travel mugs and stickers.
Today, P. Terry’s Burger Stand operates more than 40 locations across Texas, some of which remain open 24 hours a day.
“Our commitment remains the same as it was over 21 years ago: serve great food, take care of our people, and be a part of the communities we’re fortunate enough to serve,” Montgomery said.
The Liberty Hill location targets a fourth-quarter 2027 opening.
