Miss A is preparing to open its first store in Orlando. According to the cruelty-free cosmetics, skin care, and accessories brand’s website, the new Miss A store is “coming soon” to Orlando and is expected to open in Altamonte Springs within the Altamonte Mall at 451 East Altamonte Drive.
What Now Orlando reached out to Miss A co-founder Jean Baik to find out more about the exciting debut. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“We started Miss A with a vision to create a fun space for people like myself who love makeup and beauty tools and just want to have fun experiments with products but not have to worry about spending too much money,” Baik said on the Miss A website.
“I want Miss A to be your happy place for retail therapy!”
Miss A is a popular American beauty and lifestyle brand best known for its affordable makeup, skincare, accessories, and tools priced starting at $1. Husband-and-wife duo Jean and Kenneth Baik conceived the idea in 2012 and officially launched the ShopMissA e-commerce website in 2013. In 2016, Miss A opened its first physical brick-and-mortar store in a Texas mall and introduced its proprietary in-house brand, AOA Studio.
The brand gained massive traction when beauty YouTubers and later TikTok creators highlighted its $1 makeup sponges, beauty tools, and cruelty-free cosmetics. After operating mostly in the Southwest (Texas and surrounding regions), Miss A accelerated its physical footprint into states like Florida, Georgia, Indiana, and Kentucky, eventually reaching around 15 to 30+ stores.
There are now more than a hundred Miss A stores, with three in Florida.
Miss A is anticipated to debut in Orlando in Altamonte Springs within the Altamonte Mall at 451 East Altamonte Drive before the end of this year.
