UPDATE (October 31, 2017): Permits filed for Crescent O4W Project

Crescent Communities, a Charlotte-based real estate investment and development company, Wednesday announced plans for Crescent O4W, a mixed-use development at 525 North Avenue in Old Fourth Ward.

“The site is strategically located near the Beltline, walking distance to many amenities including the Beltline’s Eastside Trail, Ponce City Market and Historic Fourth Ward Park,” according to the announcement.

The 2.23-acre site was previously zoned for a proposed 170,000 square-foot office building.

Located at the corner of North Avenue and Arnold Street, Crescent O4W would consist of a five-story multifamily development with approximately 240 apartment units over a parking deck, and 9,000 square feet of street-level commercial space.

Crescent late yesterday filed an application for a Special Administrative Permit (SAP) with City of Atlanta for the site (click here to view the official document.)

Crescent O4W is being designed by Dwell Design Studio, an Atlanta-based architecture, planning, interiors and environmental design firm.
