UPDATE (December 4, 2017): Your Pie Grant Park Set For December 8 Opening

The George, a forthcoming six-story, 110,000-square-foot mixed-use project adjacent the State Capitol and Georgia State University, has inked a deal with Your Pie, the development’s first known tenant.

Urban Eats brokered the deal.

The quick-service pizzeria could open in the Grant Park project summer 2017 under the direction of husband and wife Your Pie co-franchisees Morgan and Lisa Maclellan.

“We’re a local husband and wife owner/operator team and are thrilled to be moving back to Grant Park to serve delicious, brick oven pizza and amazing craft beer,” the Maclellans said in a statement on the Your Pie Grant Park website.

The Maclellans own a Your Pie in Dunwoody, the duo’s first location.

Situated on Memorial Drive at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Hill Street, Your Pie would be located across the street from Daddy D’z and down the street from Tin Lizzy’s and Six Feet Under.

Expect events at Your Pie like Trivia, “craft beer Pi(e)nt Nights, and Pi(e) Day (3/14),” among others.

Your Pie, founded in 2008 by Drew French in Athens, Ga, serves made-to-order, brick-oven pizzas (with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options) using hand-tossed dough and homemade marinara sauce, paninis, and salads.

The George could see up to three additional retailers across its 11,500 square feet of ground-level space including a “high-end bottle shop” and “two additional storefronts for neighborhood-oriented retail,” according to the developer’s website.
