A trainer with a portable-gym will come to you almost whenever, wherever in Downtown, Buckhead, Brookhaven and Sandy Springs.

GymGuyz, a New York-based fitness franchise concept that delivers a personal trainer and a gym-on-wheels to your home, office, or wherever, is launching in Atlanta.

Information Technology Executive turned entrepreneur Scott Richards in partnership with his brother Everett Richards, could bring as many as 12 GymGuyz “vans” to Atlanta serving Downtown, Buckhead, Brookhaven and up to Sandy Springs, as the metro-area’s franchisees.

“My affinity to fitness, like many people, is on and off,” Scott Richards in a telephone interview Friday told What Now Atlanta.

“I became a GymGuyz franchisee because I personally needed a fitness program that I could tailor to my lifestyle. Not only would I buy into the franchise, but I’d be the first client, and that’s what I did.”

The GymGuyz model is based on three pillars, according to Richards: Convenience (GymGuyz comes to you), Customization (training program designed for each client), and Creativity (trainers constantly change the program to keep clients from plateauing).

Clients can workout wherever is most convenient for them, whether that’s their home, office or local park.

“We’re bringing fitness to your front door. All you have to do is answer.”
