As reported by Columbus Business First, coffee shop Qahwah House is making plans to open its second Columbus location in Hilliard’s forthcoming $200 million mixed-use development called TruePointe that will be constructed on Trueman Boulevard.
Franchisee Abdelrahman Yasen shared with What Now Columbus that he signed the lease on the space about two weeks ago and is currently looking at an opening timeframe of either December 2025 or very early in 2026.
Yasen anticipates the 2,900-square-foot coffee shop having seating for about 100 guests inside, and guests will also have access to a shared patio space adjacent to the coffee shop.
Qahwah House is a Michigan-based coffee shop chain and Yasen opened the city’s first storefront, which is located at 189 E Main St, in downtown Columbus. Yasen said he worked for the company for several years before branching out and becoming a franchisee.
The coffee shop’s menu features lattes, pour overs, cold brew and Yemeni coffee, teas like chai and matcha, as well as a variety of pastries.
