UPDATE (March 11, 2019): 26 Thai Kitchen and Bar To Replace MuLan in Midtown

MuLan, a Chinese restaurant situated in what was once a Victorian-style Midtown home, has shuttered.

And this time it’s for good.

In 2014 the restaurant temporarily closed its doors to correct cockroach infestation issues.

It’s unclear why the restaurant, at 824 Juniper Street NE, called it quits this week.

On a visit to the 16-year-old restaurant Wednesday, What Now Atlanta found a chain-locked front entrance.

The restaurant’s telephone is no longer active and a “sorry, we are closed” graphic is the new homepage on the restaurant’s website.

Yelp has also marked MuLan as “closed.”

  • super sad about this… I hope they figure out a way to come back. they have been through the ringer just having been robbed. this is really one of the only Chinese games in midtown so it’s a loss.
