New Jersey-based Frutta Bowls is heading south.
The health-conscious concept that serves acai, kale, pitaya, and oatmeal bowls, and smoothies, has secured an Atlanta-territory franchise partner.
Due to current work commitments, the franchise partner has asked to remain anonymous through March. For the sake of this article, we’ll call her Mrs. Frutta.
Mrs. Frutta has secured space in the Fountain Oaks shopping center, at 4920 Roswell Road, for the market’s first Frutta Bowls.
“Once I had the right team to help me through this new journey, everything started to fall into place,” Mrs. Frutta Wednesday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.
“Fountain Oaks is right in the middle of North Buckhead and Sandy Springs and the area has the capacity to absorb a health-focused concept. Having Kroger as the anchor is a great traffic driver and I really like Edens and the centers they have.”
Situated in suite 46 (suite 20 internally), Frutta Bowls will occupy a 1,500-square-foot space next door to GNC, according to the center’s latest site plan.
Inside will be three couches complete with charging stations to create a “warm and welcoming community” feeling.
If all goes according to plan, the Fountain Oaks Frutta Bowls should open May 2018.
Mrs. Frutta, with exclusive rights to “certain territories” in Atlanta, could open as many as five locations over the next five years.
“We offer a fruit-based product that has wide appeal because it’s simple. We just happen to mix and prepare it in a way that’s delicious. It can replace a meal or be a compliment or even a treat if you’re looking for something sweet.”
