Construction fencing went up recently at 1075 Peachtree Street NE outside of the now-shuttered Republic of Couture (ROC) space.

Naturally, the mystery peaked the interest of several What Now Atlanta (WNA) readers.

So, we investigated.

Turns out, the incoming tenant is not as exciting as Sugar Factory’s plans to open across the street where Mi Cocina was formerly situated.

It’s Charles Schwab.

The bank and mortgage company will replace ROC in the 1075 Peachtree space, according to permits filed with the City of Atlanta.

Charles Schwab is relocating its Colony Square offices to the Loews Atlanta Hotel-anchored high-rise.

It’s unclear why the company is moving a few blocks south but it probably has to with Colony Square’s ongoing “reimagination.”

Representatives for the Midtown mixed-use, 1075, and Charles Schwab did not immediately return WNA’s request for comment.
