Chick-fil-A has begun construction on their newest Metro Atlanta location.

Located at 3967 Lavista road, Chick-fil-A will open in space that was most recently Taco Bell at Northlake Festival in Tucker, just outside inside of I-285.

The Northlake Community Alliance sent out an invitation for an open house in June of last year asking the community’s input on the proposed Chick-fil-A.

“You are cordially invited to an Open House to provide comments/input for proposed variances and a Special Land Use Permit for a new Chick-Fil-A Restaurant.”

The invitation to the open house specified the location as, “South West intersection of Lavista Road and Ranchwood Dr. (site of former Taco Bell Restaurant).”

Our guess is that the neighborhood voted for edible fast food.

God only knows what Taco Bell qualifies as beef.

The time frame for the project has not been confirmed but demolition is well underway.

  • The location is actually a few blocks inside the Perimeter, not outside as the article states. Good for Tucker/Northlake!
