Grecian Gyro on June 3 will grand open its Berkeley Park restaurant.

The fast-casual Greek eatery is situated in the Berkely Heights development, at 1700 Northside Drive NW Suite B6.

Grecian Gyro replaces Blue Coast Burrito.

The first 37 guests at the restaurant Monday will receive a free gyro, a nod to the restaurant chain’s 37 years in business.

Grecian Gryo’s new location is almost double the size of the original in Hapeville, offering an in-store market that is completely new to the restaurant chain.

The market carries Greek beer and wine, olive oil, feta, pasta, cookies, chocolates and Izzy’s European Ice Kréme (opening June 21).

Founder Nick Koulouris opened the first location in 1982 in Hapeville, Georgia.

The company is now under the direction of Nick’s sons, George and Pano, and offers a selection of wraps, vegetarian dishes, dolmades, hummus, and baklava.

Its hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
