It was owned by the same folks as the French pastry shop predecessor.

Purely is no longer open for business in Midtown.

The quick-service gelato joint, which also served bubble tea and “bowls,” abruptly closed its doors earlier this month in the Shops at Viewpoint.

Furniture and fixtures have since been removed from the Midtown storefront, at 855 Peachtree Street NE.

Landlord Coro Realty Advisors was unaware of the closure and first found out through an inquiry from What Now Atlanta (WNA) regarding the sudden shutter.

A representative for the real estate firm did confirm the closure was pending but that a timeline had not yet been confirmed.

Coro is seeking a replacement tenant for the space.

Before it was Purely, the Midtown space was occupied by Le Macaron under the same owners.

The French pastry shop shuttered in a similar fashion in late-2017.

It’s unclear what prompted either closure.

The owners refuse to respond to WNA’s requests for comment.
