According to a recent permit filing, Vietnamese dessert drink chain Bambu is opening at 827 Bethel Rd in Columbus. When it opens, it will be not only the first location in Columbus, but the first Bambu in the state of Ohio. Franchise owner Vongdalin Vorn tells What Now Columbus that the projected opening date is around mid-September.
As noted on its website, Bambu’s drink menu features drinks like Chè, which are Vietnamese fresh coconut and avocado dessert drinks served with fruit and house-made jellies. There are also fruit smoothies, bubble tea and sparkling refreshers made with jasmine tea.
In addition to tea, Chè and smoothies, there’s a number of coffee drinks available, including Vietnamese coffee, served hot, iced or blended. Besides drinks, there are also desserts like mochi ice cream and French macarons available in a number of flavors as well as bubble waffles. Currently, there are nearly 70 Bambu locations throughout the U.S.
