Karved specializes in slow-cooked and expertly seasoned rotisserie meats and sandwiches, and has been rated “Best Sandwich in Nevada” by Buzzfeed and MSN. With the original Karved just east of the Las Vegas Strip, the gourmet rotisserie will make its second home in Summerlin.
Karved brings globally inspired street food into a fast casual concept serving farm to table comfort food. The menu features rotisserie chicken, beef tri tip, pork, salads, soups, and sandwiches. Highlights on the menu include the Carne Asada Fries, the Porchetta Sandwich (free-range pork loin wrapped in crispy pork belly with lemon caper sauce, gremolata, and arugula on a baguette); and the Pulled Pork Sandwich (pulled pork with sweet and tangy Karved sauce, coleslaw, and red pickled onion). Don’t forget to couple your plate with one of Harney and Sons’s organic teas, like the popular White Sangria.
Karved will settle into the 1,600-square-foot suite 175 of the Village Square at 9440 W Sahara Avenue among Viva Mercado’s Mexican Bar & Grill and the healthy restaurant store Grabbagreen. Karved will replace what had formerly been the Japanese fondue restaurant Yojié. Owner and Chef Elise Garson told What Now Las Vegas that the design will be warm and inviting, complemented by white hues and natural woods with concrete accents. With its central theme as the rotisserie from France, Karved will also integrate sustainable materials and energy efficiency into its design and offer both indoor and outdoor seating.
Garson aims to open Karved in Summerlin by October. If your tummy is rumbling, head on over to the original at 3957 Maryland Pkwy for a savory plate.
