Fellini’s Pizza on Ponce de Leon Avenue shuttered its doors on Monday, March 2, but the closure is temporary, a representative for the pizza chain’s corporate office told What Now Atlanta Tuesday.

It will reopen on Monday, March 9 following a week of “light clean-up and minor renovations.”

“[The closure] was planned,” the rep said.

“We just needed a little bit of time to do a few things, and this was the week we planned to do it. We’ll be back up and running next week.”

Fellini’s Pizza currently has seven locations in Atlanta, according to the restaurant’s website.

La Fonda Latina, which in 1998 opened next to Fellini’s on Ponce under the same ownership, is open and will not be closing for similar renovations.
