Rancho Cucamonga will soon get a taste of some fast-casual Laotian grub. Sabaidee Lao and Thai Street Food, which has four Texas locations, is expanding outside of the state for the first time in 2021. According to owner Salong Namsa, its upcoming Rancho Cucamonga location is “shooting” for a mid-March grand opening date, but will open “no later than April 1.”

Sabaidee will set up shop inside Haven City Market at 8443 Haven Ave. Its menu provides a variety of Laotian and Thai dishes, from favorites such as Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles to red and yellow curry.

Most menu items have several meat options including chicken, beef, pork, tofu, veggies, shrimp or a combination of meat. There are also several “street food” options, imitating traditional Laotian and Thai street food like Lao spicy pork sausage and Sabaidee short pork riblets.

Sabaidee operates in a fast-casual format and offers catering and delivery services.

In addition to his expanding chain of restaurants, Namsa owns and operates a popular streetwear brand, Laos Supply. His fashion designs often intersect with Laotian food, leaving a clear intersection between his two business ventures. Laos Supply has 43k followers on Instagram and has earned Namsa a feature in Vice.

Namsa will garner a fourth restaurant to his name when Sabaidee Lao and Thai Street Food comes to Rancho Cucamonga this spring.
