Soon, San Diego will get a taste of some Nashville hot chicken.
Los Angeles based fast-casual eatery The Kluckin Chicken plans to open its third location in March, with a venue opening on 2015 Garnet Avenue in San Diego at the former home of Ivory Thai Cuisine. The chain has other locations in Los Angeles and Sherman Oaks.
Other than a “coming soon” announcement on its Instagram, details are scarce and Owner Wilson Manusyants was not immediately available for comment Tuesday.
The Kluckin Chicken sports a modestly sized menu with entree options consisting of chicken sandwiches, a chicken wrap, chicken bowl and chicken tenders. Fries, coleslaw and pickles are offered as sides.
The chain will offer in-store pickup, as well as delivery options through Uber Eats, Postmates and Doordash. The Kluckin Chicken also plans to open a Reseda location “soon,” though the exact date and location are still unknown.
