Coxinha Store, a San Diego-based Brazilian street food caterer known for its “potato bites,” is in the process of moving its storefront to the Pacific Beach Promenade with a targeted opening date of April 1.

Coxinha will operate in the 4110-4190 block on Mission Blvd, an employee told What Now San Diego Monday. The location will contain Coxinha’s kitchen and a “small storefront,” they said.

Coxinha Store caters small potato bites to parties, weddings, and other gatherings. The small potato bites referred to as “coxinha” are Brazil’s “most popular party food,” according to the company’s website.

The menu contains different forms and servings of Coxinha, including hot dog bites, ham and cheese bites and Coxinha fondue. While Coxinha Store is primarily in the catering business and requires orders to be made in advance, it also sells frozen microwavable coxinhas.
