Renderings this week surfaced for a planned dual-branded hotel in Atlantic Station.

Springhill Suites and Tapestry Collection by Hilton will most likely be the project’s two hotels, according to marketing materials from Hines, Atlantic Station’s owner, that were obtained Friday by What Now Atlanta (WNA).

Slated to open in fall 2020, the dual-branded hotel would feature 265 keys.

Peachtree Hotel Group is behind the yet-to-be-announced project.

The Atlanta-based real estate developer and management company in March had planning and design engineering firm Kimley Horn file land development plans with the City of Atlanta for the new hotels.

An affiliate of Peachtree Hotel Group acquired the land where the hotels will be situated, at 301 17th Street NW, in 2018 for nearly $4 MM, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle (paywall).

The site sits between the Twelve Hotel and the BB&T tower in the mixed-use development.

Peachtree Hotel Group on Friday did not immediately respond to WNA’s request for comment.

Embassy Suites By Hilton is also planned in Atlantic Station and could break ground later this year.
