A home healthcare provider based in Bloomington, Minnesota, has filed for Chapter 11 protection. Senior Home Health Care, LLC serves the elderly through nursing, speech therapy, and more services. In addition to Bloomington, the company operates in St. Cloud and Rochester.

With the filing, the company plans to restructure its debts while continuing operations at its three locations under court supervision.

Senior Home Health Care, LLC Enters Bankruptcy

According to court filings on PACER, the healthcare company made a voluntary filing on March 30, 2026. Filing details add that the Chapter 11 proceedings are taking place in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota.

Attorney Karl J. Johnson of MJB Law Firm PLLC is offering legal representation to the company in the latest case.

As per case filings on RK Consultants, the company has been classified as a healthcare business pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 101(27A). It adds that the company is also a small business debtor according to 11 U.S.C. § 101(51D) and has chosen to move ahead under Subchapter V of Chapter 11.

The company further submitted a list of creditors with the 20 largest unsecured claims and who are not insiders. Some of these creditors include Cedar Advance LLC, Bizfund.com LLC, and PIRS Capital LLC.

Other documents submitted were a summary of assets and liabilities, a statement of financial affairs, a verification of creditor matrix.

Schedules A/B, D, E/F, G, and H were also added in the petition signed by authorized representative Jeylani Hashi.

Another senior care provider that entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy was Journey’s Home Care & Concierge Services, LLC. This Indianapolis-based company submitted a voluntary petition under Subchapter V. With a community-oriented focus, it offers several non-medical home care and concierge-style support services.

Prior to this, Care One Home Health Services, Inc. submitted a Chapter 11 petition using Subchapter V on January 27. The nurse-led healthcare company aimed to readjust its finances with the proceedings. It has been offering in-home healthcare services in Bolingbrook, Illinois since 2005.

The filing comes as more home healthcare providers across the country turn to Chapter 11. Upcoming court proceedings will determine how the company restructures its financial obligations.
