Atlanta-based Stein Investment Group is proposing a mixed-use development in historic downtown Chamblee.

The yet-to-be-named adaptive reuse project would house a food hall, office and entertainment space, and a rooftop patio, at the former site of Manna Pro, an animal feed mill, according to recently submitted plans.

“What’s been filed is subject to change,” Jason Linscott, chief investment officer for Stein, told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview Friday.

“We’re requesting a lot of variances for this project.”

In total, the development would encompass more than 50,000 square feet, at 5466 New Peachtree Road.

Linscott said it’s still too early to discuss tenants, but that there’s a lot of interest as well as support from the City of Chamblee.

“We see authenticity in downtown Chamblee and an opportunity to create something unique with this property.”
