Fuqua’s forthcoming development at the intersection of Northside Drive and 17th Street is going to be called “West Midtown Center.”
Kroger, the grocery store giant anchoring the mixed-use project, reportedly named the development.
“Technically it is West Midtown Center, but many still refer to it as Northside & 17th,” Heather Correa, a partner at Fuqua, this week told What Now Atlanta in an email.
Marketing materials for the development, at 1299 Northside Drive NW, still display the “Northside & 17th” name.
The Loring Heights project near Atlantic Station will be home to Blaze Pizza’s third Atlanta-area location, Chipotle, Zaxby’s, a large storage facility, and Kroger.
McCalister’s Deli and Dunkin’ Donuts are also rumored for the development.
Once complete, the center will also offer multifamily and detached single-family homes.
This is disgusting. I don’t want this suburban plaza to become the face of West Midtown.
F*ck-a should be tried for crime against civilization! What a major asshole!
The map is a mirror image, not reality…
??? Why would they put a Regal Cinema when theres already a huge one at AS just blocks down the street? Is this a different concept? Notice even on the map there the logo showing there’s going to be a Regal Cinema there at the new development is actually further away than where the existing one already is.located.
At least it’s totally replaceable. If they decide to redevelop later.
WOW – I apparently totally don’t know how to read a map.
Fuqua, this is not suburbia. Get with it.
